Serenity Ritual

Serenity Ritual is La Vela’s complete ceremony, and the only ritual built entirely around you on the day. It begins the way every great ceremony should: with someone paying attention.

In your welcome and consultation, your therapist will talk to you about where the tension sits, what the skin needs, and what kind of care the day calls for. Then the ceremony is shaped around it, including your choice of a custom organic facial with cooling gua sha, or a Face Reset treatment.

From there, nothing is asked of you at all. The full ritual sequence moves through every layer: the head, neck, shoulder and arm massage, hot towel therapy, organic detox mask, exfoliating scalp massage, deep-cleanse shampoo, the Yume head bath, and steamed hair treatment. The ceremony then finishes with your choice: a custom organic facial with cooling gua sha therapy, or a Face Reset treatment.

Guests describe leaving in a near-meditative state. And the results keep developing for 24 to 48 hours afterwards: a softness in the face, a stillness in the body, the kind of change the people around you notice before you do.

What’s included

This is not a longer treatment. It is a different kind of care. Most of our Serenity guests are the ones who carry everyone else, the ones who are never on the receiving end. This is the ritual for the day it’s finally your turn.

Aftercare

Avoid heat styling and heavy products for the rest of the day. Your scalp and skin have been deeply treated, so drink plenty of water. If you chose the facial, the gua sha effects continue to work for 24-48 hours. Your therapist will provide personalised aftercare tips.
