04Training, taught not improvised
It is not a theory. It is the hands behind it.
Alice has worked in beauty and wellness for years and has personally treated thousands of clients. Her training includes head spa, massage technique, facial work, organic skincare, scalp care, body work, pressure-point-inspired practices and hands-on treatment education across multiple countries.
She has learned from practitioners and masters in their fields across Singapore, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan and Australia. These experiences shaped her understanding of touch, relaxation, scalp care, product use and the body's response to slow, intentional work.
The La Vela Touch™ is the result of that learning, combined with years of practical experience. It is not a theory. It is not copied from a single course. It is not improvised treatment by treatment. It is a signature technique developed through real hands, real clients and repeated refinement.
That experience is what Alice now trains into every La Vela practitioner. The Touch is taught, not improvised. Every La Vela practitioner is trained in the signature technique before performing treatments on guests - hands-on, focused not only on the sequence of movements but on the judgement behind them.
Practitioners are trained in how to hold pressure, when to slow down, how to work with the scalp fascia, how to support the neck and shoulders, how to incorporate breath, how to maintain the rhythm of the treatment, how to use organic products correctly, how to protect the sensory environment, and how to recognise when a guest should be referred to a health professional.
A guest may book in Brisbane or on the Gold Coast. They may book a different treatment or see a different practitioner. But the experience should still feel unmistakably La Vela. That consistency comes from The La Vela Touch™.
